PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES AGAINST COVID-19

Since the outspread of COVID-19 back in 2020, several industries have incurred heavy losses. Due to the nationwide lockdown, some companies were forced to shut down, while others had to stall all ongoing works. People from across the world hoped that the pandemic soon came to an end bringing back normalcy, but COVID-19 had different plans. Now in 2021, COVID-19 is still spreading rapidly infecting over thousands per days.
Even though the COVID-19 situation remains dire, the world has started fighting back against this deadly virus. Taking adequate precautionary measures several companies have reopened and work has resumed. Woodkraft too recommenced work and employees were soon back in office and sites. Continuity of work is essential, but the health of employees is more important. Keeping the wellbeing and safety of employees in mind, Woodkraft incorporated several practices and precautionary measures at its offices and project sites.
While at offices disinfectant tunnels have been installed and temperature checks, face masks, use of hand sanitizers have been made compulsory, at project sites much stringent measures are followed. Every project site has an automatic non-contact sanitizer, foot pedal hand sanitizers and disinfectant tunnel installed. Also, thermal scanning of employees is a must. Workers and clients at project sites are provided reusable cotton face masks, hand sanitizers and T-face shield. Apart from this, a doctor present at every site conducts regular COVID-19 tests and pulse oximeter checkups for all workers at site. Project sites are also equipped with sanitizer fog and spray machines to disinfect and sanitize the site and labour accommodation on a daily basis.
In addition to the amenities provided, every worker on site is trained and briefed on COVID-19 protocols, PPE talks, and Toolbox talks include measures to tackle the deadly virus, Demo and mockups are conducted for all. Workers’ meal area at sites are designed in a way to maintain social distancing between workers. Not just at project sites, even at offices, workspaces are arranged to help maintain distance between employees. Keyboard and mouse to be disinfected before use, mask made compulsory for every employee, no meetings in meeting rooms, no food service from outside permitted within the office and regular COVID tests conducted for receptionist. Employees traveling cities need to quarantine for a week before entering office space.
The pandemic is far from being over and the only way to fight against this deadly virus is to stay protected and follow all protocols. With right measures and precautions, one can avoid being infected. So, Stay Safe and Stay Healthy.
